So many people are struggling with mental health issues so we need the conversation to begin.

Elizabeth sat down with Stephanie Jones BSc MSW RSW, facilitator, speaker, author, and founder of Jones Mental Health, to discuss the state of mental health for women today.

Mental Health is the well being of our brain; what we think and think about. The first step is the acknowledge what is going on and to ask for help when you think you might need it. The Pandemic only increased the need to address these issues, especially for women.

Be mindful of your friends, family and colleagues. Remember that you don't know what people are going through and who is in crisis.

When talking to someone who might be struggling, remember that you don't need to understand it but you do need to to validate and support it. Lead with understanding and empathy.
